As part of a regeneration programme aimed at attracting retailers and consumers to Llanelli Town Centre, Carmarthenshire County Council were investing over £40 million into the project. To aid public awareness, Picmo helped create a promotional video detailing the proposals of five major areas of construction. Working with the media production department at Tinopolis, we offered guidance and direction at every stage. 3D visualisation animations were created to fully illustrate the dramatic changes that were planned. Mood boards, storyboards and draft scripts were produced and discussed in detail with the client during the pre-production phase. The animation sequences were deliberately artistic in style, transitioning from live action footage to pastel drawings. Once revealed, the shot tracked across and elevated to show the scale and detail of the developments.
